The National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of China (NCNST) is co-founded by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Ministry of Education. 

It is a subsidiary non-profit organization of CAS with a status of independent non-profit legal entity. The institute contributes to the basic researches on biology effect and safety in nanoscience. There is extensive experience in EU projects of FP6 & FP7 in related areas in nanosafety.
