Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique
Founded in 1984, Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique (CSEM) is a Swiss private non-profit organisation providing access to technologies by carrying out applied research, product research and development, feasibility studies, product engineering and production of special devices.
CSEM has both participated and coordinated many projects in the FP6, FP7 and Horizon2020 programmes. Two company sections will be involved in the ACEnano project, the Innovative Design Section and the Microdiagnostic section, both based in Landquart. The focus of the CSEM Microdignostics Section is the development and integration of innovative nano- and bio- technologies into product platforms addressing relevant problems in health care. The focus of the CSEM Innovative Design Section is the development of miniaturized and highly integrated optical sensor systems. The Section has a considerable experience in optical sensors for nanoparticle characterization in complex matrices.
